Since moving to Los Angeles, many many things have transpired in life. One of them is that the creativity and passion has begun to flow again. Not in the same reckless, wild way as before but in a steady controlled stream of consciousness. There is an energy and a vitality that has begun to illuminate my entire life and the only explanation is the God, life force energy flowing through. We are all channels of love and light when we chose to be. The only explanation for this new found energy is after years of focused intention, the healing has finally taken place. Much healing came from personal time alone with God and much of it took place over these last years in my painting studio. Healing Art can be transformational. I've always wanted to try painting, but never had the opportunity until Clarity's workshop. I realized the pace of painting with intention was so much slower than the act of playing my instrument, and it allowed so many emotions and nuances to come up that I had to face and express through the painting. During each iteration I felt another emotional layer come up, which I had to face and come to terms with as I gently let it be expressed. Thus, when I came to the final iteration, my heart was open enough to create something really pure and special that I still have hanging on my wall as a reminder of that healing process and my true self that was shining through with that art piece.
